Stratford-upon-Avon is steeped in Shakespearean history, nowhere more so than the picturesque Alveston Manor. Set in its own grounds but only a few minutes walk from Stratford town centre, the Alveston Manor is one of the finest bases from which to play bridge and to explore the area.

The original hotel comprises a beautiful Tudor building with many authentic features, whilst the gardens boast an ancient Cedar Tree under which, rumour has it, the first performance of 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' was given.
